Collins Canned Food Drive
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” are the words of Helen Keller. With your help our CECI team stayed true to Helen Keller’s words and was able to accomplish so much during the holiday season.
Thanks to the kindness of our employees, our company’s canned food drive was a huge success! Well over 700 pounds of canned food and non-perishable goods were donated to local Food Banks within the branches’ communities. That is equivalent to 583 meals!
A friendly competition with our four branches (Dublin, Fresno, Marina and Sacramento) teaming up against our Metro/Corp branch took place to see who can collect the most food. It was a (not so) close win but great effort by all. An astounding three-fourths of the total weight (700 pounds) combined came from the winning team! Let us all congratulate … the four branches for winning by a landslide! Well done, team!
Again, we thank all those who participated. Know that your generosity is truly appreciated and that you have made a difference in the lives of others in need.
