As Chief Financial Officer, Gail manages the company’s accounting functions, financial strategy, and banking and bonding relationships. She also oversees the Human Resources, Payroll, and IT departments and serves as the Corporate Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee. Gail joined Collins in 1998, having previously served as CFO for a residential general contractor/real estate developer/property management conglomerate based in Stockton.
Gail obtained her degree of Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting from CSU, Sacramento and began her career as a staff accountant with one of the Big 4 CPA firms. After transferring from audit to tax, she completed her post-graduate education with a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Golden Gate University.
In addition to keeping her CPA license current, Gail also maintains the designations of CGMA, PHR, SHRM-CP and holds a State of California Real Estate Brokers License. She is an active member of the AICPA, CSCPA, SHRM and CFMA.
