What Have the Branches Been up to Lately?

Dublin Branch: Turkey Time

There are turkeys running amok in Dublin! Here’s what Office Manager, Deborah Summers, told us:

“We have a family of turkeys around our office. One has an injured leg and John feeds him daily. In the morning, he waits for John to show up and follows him to the office. He waits right in front of the door for John throughout the day.  He would eat out of John’s hand if he would let him. The other morning the turkey told his friends. We had 6 turkeys waiting for John!”

Fresno Branch: New Hire

A big welcome to Fresno’s newest member, Ethan Calvary! Ethan is 18 years old and new to the Fresno area. Ethan plans to continue in the construction industry with the ultimate goal of becoming an electrician! Currently, he is awaiting the first interviews with the local JATC Board. Until Ethan reaches the big day of becoming an apprentice and begins officially working in the field, he is going to learn as much as possible with the CECI! Welcome aboard, Ethan, and good luck!

Which Sock Rocks?

When you get dressed for work, do you think of every element of your outfit? Do you make sure to match from head to toe? Well, the Gini brothers do, and somehow Kevin, Craig, and Brian all ended up with snazzy socks in nearly matching shades of blue and purple! So, which sock do you think rocks the most? Cast your vote in the survey below and then guess which sock belongs to which brother! The winning sock/brother will be revealed in next week’s Sparky’s Notes!

Metro Branch- Keystone Distribution Center in Patterson

Safety first! We’re finally experiencing fall weather, which means cooler temperatures and, of course, rain!  With the rains that came in last week, our field guys led by our Foreman, Todd Ellis, ensured that all things were considered with the rain coming in.

On November 2nd, light pole holes were prepped for water and protection from upcoming rainy weather!

Keystone 2

And on November 3rd, site lighting was backfilled.

Word of the Week: Appreciation

noun: the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something.

It’s all too easy to get caught up in the chaos of life. This week, make a point to slow down, take some time, and appreciate the things and people around you.

We appreciate all of our Collins family, not only for all you do, but for who you are!

Collins Selfies

Even though we work hard, we play hard too. Every week, we’ll show off our most important resource: the Collins Electrical staff.

This week, we introduce to you…

Louisa Sanders, an electrician from our Sacramento Branch!

Louisa Sanders from Sac

Louisa recently won tickets to last Sunday’s game between the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers! And here she is reppin’ Collins from head to truck! Lookin’ good, Louisa!

Check out all the Collins’ Selfies by searching for the hashtag #collinsselfie on Facebook.

Do you have a #collinsselfie to share? Post them to our page using the hashtag #collinsselfie or email Elaine at EAlcones@collinselectric.com.

Make sure to incorporate the Collins Electrical logo in a creative and fun way!
